A support and signposting hub for residents and businesses directly affected by the explosion in Wirral opens in New Ferry Village Hall tomorrow.
The drop-in facility will operate today, Thursday and Friday this week, from 10am-4pm. It is designed to advise people and businesses from New Ferry and Port Sunlight with their ongoing needs.
The hall is at Grove Road, New Ferry, CH62 5AZ. Parking is available on site.
This is part of our ongoing commitment to helping out those worst affected by the catastrophic events of last weekend. We are still in the very early part of the recovery phase of this incident, but we are in it for the long haul and we are heartened by the support and assistance being given right across the community and the recovery will very much be a collaborative effort involving the whole area.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit arson after an explosion which injured 34 people.
