Ahead of the vote on June 23rd, our Political Correspondent Daniel Hewitt tours the region looking at what the UK's membership of the EU means for the North West.
During the campaign it was often said the votes of young people would be crucial, and of course it is future generations that will have to live with the outcome.
But turnout among 18 to 24 year olds was lower than other age groups.
