Pelé, regarded by many as the greatest footballer of all time, will be in Manchester today to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a humanitarian aid charity.

The Brazilian star is supporting the Wilmslow-based Human Appeal, and will also launch their Ramadan campaign; "Saving lives for 25 years - that's what makes us human".

After the launch event tonight, at the Palace Hotel, Pele will take part in a Q&A conducted commentator Jim Rosenthal.

Tomorrow he's due to be guest of honour at the Soccer Aid match at Old Trafford.
