1966 England stars honour Nobby Stiles
A street in Manchester has been named after 1966 World Cup legend Nobby Stiles. The civic honour comes 50 years after England’s famous triumph over West Germany at Wembley.
Manchester United greats including Sir Bobby Charlton and Denis Law were on hand at the unveiling in Collyhurst.
Nobby who is 73 wasn't in attendance at the special ceremony. It was revealed last year that he’s battling Alzheimer’s, having previously been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Denis Law spoke to Granada and said despite everything he achieved Nobby 'always stayed the same.'
