2016 May Elections in the Granada region
Polls are due to close at 10pm as 26 Councils are being contested across the region. Liverpool and Salford vote for new Mayors.
Local Elections: Waking up in Salford
The results of Salford’s local elections have been announced.
The political makeup of the council remains the same - 51 Labour - 8 Conservative and 1 Independent.
50,256 votes were cast - 30% of the electorate turned out to vote.
