Exclusive: The photographer who made The Smiths synonymous with the Salford Lads Club

The work of a photographer who made the Salford Lads club synonymous with the Smiths will be displayed in a new exhibition.

Stephen Wright captured the album cover for 'The Queen is Dead' 30 years ago and it became one of the most iconic photos in music history.

The exhibition, A dark day in Salford with The Smiths, opens this weekend.
