Communities across the North West have been hit severe flooding over Christmas and the New Year after a series of December storms wreaked havoc on the country. Prince Harry is visiting the North West. He'll speak to soldiers who played a crucial role in responding to the flood crisis in Lancashire. Prince Harry will also visit areas affected to see the damage caused by flooding and the impact on the community. The deluge brought by Storm Desmond flooded around 5,000 homes in Cumbria and Lancashire causing millions of pounds worth of damage.
