Inquest into death of Robert Hart after Parklife attack death

An inquest has heard a man who died after being attacked at the Parklife festival was talking and able to stand before he was taken to hospital.

Robert Hart suffered fatal head injuries after being attacked in front of his girlfriend, Gemma Parry, in June last year.

His attacker has never been traced.

The inquest will take place before Manchester Coroner Nigel Meadows at the city's Town Hall.

Parklife attack victim 'didn't fit major trauma criteria'

The inquest into the death of Robert Hart has heard that he didn't fit the criteria of a major trauma victim.

Yesterday, the coroner had been told Hart may have survived if he'd been taken to a Salford Royal Hospital earlier.
