Liverpool says goodbye to Cilla
The city of Liverpool has said goodbye to Liverpool at her funeral in the city this afternoon.
Cilla Black to be laid to rest in home city of Liverpool
The funeral of singer and TV star Cilla Black will take place in her home city of Liverpool.
The service will take place at 1pm on Thursday 20th August 2015 at St Mary’s Church in Woolton.
The Right Reverend Thomas Williams, Auxiliary Bishop of Liverpool and former Parish Priest of St Anthony’s, Scotland Road, will celebrate the Mass.
Cilla’s body will then be laid to rest, at a private ceremony, in Allerton Cemetery alongside her parents.
Her husband, Bobby Willis was cremated in 1999 and his remains were scattered at her various homes in the UK and abroad.
