Teenager shot dead in Liverpool

An 18-year-old man has been shot dead in Garston, Liverpool last night.

Officers were called to Banks Road, Garston, at about 8.45pm to reports of a crash between a grey Audi and a scrambler bike.

The family of a teenager who was shot dead in Liverpool have denied he was involved in gangs. Vincent Waddington is believed to have been on a scrambler bike when he was gunned down on Banks Road in Garston on Tuesday night. His family has issued a statement.

He was a normal 18 year old young, intelligent lad fro the inner city which any working class family would relate to. This handsome boy meant the world to his dad along with his sister, brother, grandparents and entire family.

The statement continues saying Vincent had been asked to be a godfather before he died.

He was taken from us too young too soon, it did not have to be like this and no parent should have to go through this.
