Teenager shot dead in Liverpool
An 18-year-old man has been shot dead in Garston, Liverpool last night.
Officers were called to Banks Road, Garston, at about 8.45pm to reports of a crash between a grey Audi and a scrambler bike.
New arrests over teenager killing
Three new people have been arrested by police investigating the murder of an 18 year old in South Liverpool.
Vincent Waddington was shot dead on Banks Road in Garston on Tuesday night.
Detectives from the specialist Matrix Serious Organised Crime team arrested two men and a woman
The males, aged 31 and 20 years, and a 32-year-old woman were arrested at two addresses in Garston yesterday and have been taken to police stations on Merseyside.
The 31-year-old man and 32-year-old woman from one address in Garston have been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, whilst the 20-year-old man from the second address has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
A 25-year-old man from Speke, who was arrested on suspicion of murder on the evening of Tuesday, 14 July remains in police custody.
A post mortem examination has determined that Vincent Waddington died as a result of gunshot injuries.
