Blackpool fans protest
Blackpool fans are staging a protest at the club today as their side sits in the relegation zone.
Insp Matt Willmot from Blackpool Police said: "We are aware of a protest being organised by Blackpool FC fans at Bloomfield Road tomorrow.
"In line with our duty to facilitate a peaceful protest, Police Liaison Officers have maintained contact with fan group representatives and the club to ensure that the event passes off safely and peacefully.
"As with many of the previous games this season, there will be a proportionate policing presence at the match.
