Stephen Hill, the Deputy Headteacher of St Joseph's Roman Catholic Primary School, in Shaw, was among the stars and community heroes awarded honours by the Queen today.
Mr Hill collected his MBE - Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire - at Buckingham Palace.
