Painting of the famous 'Christmas Truce' to be auctioned for charity

Military artist David Thorpe is auctioning off a painting of the famous truce during World War 1. Troops from the Cheshire regiment met with German soldiers in no man's land to play football and exchange gifts on Christmas day in 1914. The money raised from the painting will go to various military charities.
