A social media campaign is under way after a Manchester indie band had £30,000 worth of equipment stolen.
An indie band from Manchester have put a reward of a thousand pounds for the safe return of their equipment after it was stolen during a burglary. The thieves used a hook and cane pushed through the letterbox to steam house keys. Once inside they ransacked the house and stole keys for their van.
The van was filled with tens of thousands of pounds worth of The Travelling Band's equipment. This included one a kind guitars and other instruments they have spent years collecting and without this equipment they will not be able to perform. Today the band have put up a £1,000 reward for anyone who can give information about the whereabouts of their van and equipment.
Adam Gorman, one of the members of The Travelling Band said:
Our entire touring kit and livelihood has been taken and we have no way to carry on without it. It is equipment we have amassed over many years and some of it is irreplaceable.
