Coleen Rooney takes on Ice Bucket Challenge

Coleen Rooney has followed in the steps of David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, and Daniel Sturridge, and taken on the Ice Bucket Challenge.

Croxteth-born Coleen was nominated for the challenge by Queens Park Rangers winger Sean Wright Phillips.

The Ice Bucket Challenge sees participants filming themselves having a bucket of iced water poured over their heads, before sharing it on social media.

After the soaking, Coleen nominated journalist Piers Morgan and her friend Sheree Murphy.
