A coroner has criticised mental health services for failing to provide proper care to a concert violinist who died a week after giving evidence against her former choirmaster.
The hearing was told Frances Andrade was extremely traumatised after testifying about sexual abuse suffered as a teenager while studying at Chethams school of music in Manchester.
Her attacker, Michael Brewer was jailed for six years in 2013.
Today the coroner said new rules needed to be put in place to give vulnerable witness support after traumatic trials.
