England clash with Italy in Mersey Tunnel showdown

As England prepare for their first World Cup game against Italy the two nations have already clashed.

The cream of English and Italian motoring competed in a 'noise off' through the Mersey Tunnel with cars and bikes competing to be the loudest to accelerate through.

The event was part of the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, usually set in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire.
