Two charities in Liverpool are aiming to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest ever chorus line. Homeless and housing charity the Whitechapel Centre and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital’s R Charity are looking to recruit 2,000 people to high-kick their way into the record books.
They're aiming to beat the current world record which stands at 1,628 dancers and they've enlisted the help of funnyman Ken Dodd in their search for record breakers. Event organiser, Sylvia Lewis of the Whitechapel Centre, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new world record.
The chorus line will dance it's way through St John’s Gardens on Sunday 12 October. You can find more information on their website
