Thieves have managed to dig a 50ft tunnel to steal a cash machine at a Tesco in Salford. A police source say the gang got away with £88,000.
A police source has told ITV News that the cash machine stolen by tunneling thieves contained £60,000.
The gang dug a 50ft tunnel from wasteland to reach the Tesco Express store containing the machine.
The theft, in Eccles, happened last Friday.
