Emergency crews have responded to hundreds of calls as gales of up to 90 miles an hour battered the region.

That's the message from the Prime Minister today, who's been visiting people in the resort who've been affected by this weeks atrocious weather.
He' s been seeing for himself the damage caused and has met members of the emergency services.
