Severe weather batters the North West and IOM
Emergency crews have responded to hundreds of calls as gales of up to 90 miles an hour battered the region.
Snow warning for North West
The Met Office has issued a snow warning for Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cumbria.
Forecasters say between two and five centimetres could fall between midday and midnight on ground about 250m.
