Liverpool drugs baron Curtis Warren has been told to hand over almost £200 million or face another ten years in jail.

Authorities in Jersey won a court battle to force Warren to hand over the money - which they say he amassed from the profits of his trafficking empire.

Warren, who once featured on the Sunday Times Rich List, claims he does not have the money.

Following a trial in St Helier the court ruled he must pay £198million. Warren has four weeks to hand over the cash or he will remain in jail.

He was jailed in 2009 after trying to smuggle cannabis.

Advocate Stephen Baker, defending Warren, told the court the prison recording was "tittle-tattle, bragging and foolish talk".
