Funeral for baby Alia

The body of a baby girl discovered on a country lane near Bolton in March has been laid to rest.

Police called the child 'Alia' - which means 'beautiful' - after her parents failed to come forward.

Her tiny body was wrapped in a carrier bag with the plea written on a scrap of paper to give her an Islamic burial.
