Deputy Prime Minister and Ashton-under-Lyne MP Angela Rayner has been talking to Lorraine about Labour’s first five months in power.

Police have launched an investigation into whether Angela Rayner broke electoral law over the sale of her council house.

Officers had initially said Ms Rayner would not face an investigation over claims she gave false information about where she was living for the electoral roll.
