Everton Football Club has confirmed that Wayne Rooney is to return to Goodison Park after 13 years at Manchester United.
The striker, who scored 253 goals in 559 games during his time at Old Trafford, has signed a two year deal for the Merseyside team.
Rooney first joined for the youth squad at Everton in 1996, making his professional debut in 2002. He signed for United in 2004.
