Wayne Rooney has confirmed he's rejoined Everton from Manchester United.

The Toffees have signed him on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 31 year-old today thanked United for the past 13 years but says he's ecstatic at returning to his boyhood club.

Bookmakers are offering 5/4 that Wayne Rooney is included in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the Russia World Cup (4/7 he is not).

He is now 50/1 to be the Premier League's top goal scorer after rejoining Everton.

However, the 31 year old says he has never lost touch with his roots and has spoken about his love of Merseyside.

Rooney first joined for the youth squad at Everton in 1996, making his professional debut in 2002. He signed for United in 2004.
