Ten men have been jailed for over 125 years for a range of serious sexual offences as part of a police operation called Operation Doublet - an investigation into child sexual exploitation mainly in Rochdale, with the majority happening between 2004 and 2008.

The child sex abusers starting jail terms tonight for grooming and sexually abusing girls in Rochdale.

Ten men have been sentenced to a total of 127 years.

They were jailed following a police operation in which more than 100 men in Rochdale were questioned or arrested.

The men prayed on eight young females. Officers who worked the case said they exploited the most vulnerable people in society.
