There's new hope for the family of a student from Liverpool who's been missing for a decade.

Steven Cooke disappeared on holiday in Crete, but his family are convinced he's alive.

Police are reviewing their investigation, amid a recent sighting of a man matching Steven's description on another Greek island.

It's given his parents even more reason to carry on searching.

Steven Cook disappeared while on holiday in Crete in 2005.

He's now been added to an international list of missing people, to aid in tracking him down.

The family of a student who vanished on holiday is hopeful a review of the case will lead to his discovery.

Steve Cook, from Liverpool, disappeared while holidaying with school friends in the Greek resort of Malia, Crete, 10 years ago this August.

Cheshire Police is reviewing the case because a new detective inspector, who was involved in the original search for Steve, is being put in charge of the investigation.

Steve's details have also now been added to the Interpol missing persons list.
