Police: Wheelchair-user had TV dropped on her
A woman in a wheelchair had a large television dropped on her amid "appalling scenes" during Black Friday sales in Greater Manchester, police said.
Another woman suffered a broken wrist and a security guard was punched, Deputy Chief Constable Ian Hopkin of Greater Manchester Police said.
Three people were arrested at the shopping events.

Third man arrested at Tesco store in Manchester
Greater Manchester Police have arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of assault at a Tesco store in the Green End area.
The announcement means three people have now been arrested in Tesco stores in Manchester during the Black Friday sales.

Police called to seven Tesco stores across Greater Manchester
Police have been called to seven Tesco stores across Greater Manchester overnight following reports of disturbances at ‘Black Friday’ sales events. Thousands of people turned out across the region to bag a bargain. Two people were arrested and one woman was injured by a falling TV.
- Officers were called to Tesco Central Park, Wigan after reports of several hundred people trying to get in. Two men were ejected before control was regained.
- In Ashton Road West more than 500 people attended the store.
- The Tesco store at Ellesmere Shopping Centre in Walkden was closed down. Shoppers were asked to leave.
- The Tesco Extra in Stretford was closed after fights broke out between shoppers. A woman suffered minor injuries after being hit by a falling television. The store closed just over half an hour after the sales started.
- Shortly after 1am, police were called to Tesco on Woodrow Way, Salford. One man was arrested on suspicion of assault after his conduct in store was challenged by staff. He threatened to “smash” a staff member’s face in.
- At 12.40am, officers were called to Tesco Extra on Barton Road, Middleton, following reports that around 200 people would not leave, despite being told stock had all gone. Doors had been locked but they refused to leave.
- Around midnight police were called to Tesco Extra on Stockport Road, Hattersley, following reports of fighting in store. Approximately 300 people were present. One man was arrested for a public order offence.
