Salford fracking protest

Anti- fracking protestors have marched in Salford as they try to stop exploratory drilling for shale gas.

The energy company I-Gas has been testing a site at Barton Moss since last year.

But campaigners and some local residents say they're opposed to what's happening.

Anti-fracking protestors are marching in Salford in a bid to to stop exploratory drilling for shale gas.

Hundreds of protestors have held a march and rally at Barton Moss in Salford, demonstrating against test drilling for shale gas.

Anti fracking groups from across the region demonstrated outside the perimeter fence that protects the drilling site.

Ralph Blunsom reports.
