Wendy Parry, whose 12-year-old son Tim was killed alongside three-year-old Johnathan Ball in the Warrington bombing, has received an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours.

A further 56 people were injured by two bombs put in litter bins the day before Mothering Sunday on March 20, 1993. No warning was given and nobody has ever been prosecuted.

Mrs Parry, who set up the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace with husband Colin, has been awarded the OBE in the year that marks the 20th anniversary of the attack.
