The sentencing of Greater Manchester Police, over the death of a firearms officer in a training exercise, has been adjourned.

PC Ian Terry, from Burnley, was killed in June 2008 during the exercise at a disused factory in Newton Heath.

GMP admitted a breach of health and safety law at a previous hearing. For legal reasons, sentence will now be handed down at a later date.
