Isle of Man police name man killed in Onchan crash as 22-year-old Robert Kissack
Police have named the 22-year-old man who died after being struck by a car in the Isle of Man.
Robert Kissack died in Noble’s Hospital following the incident that occurred on the Whitebridge Road, in Onchan, near to the Manx Fun Barn, at around 3:30am on 29 December 2024.
In a statement an Isle of Man Constabulary spokesperson said: "Police can now name the pedestrian involved in the fatal RTC in the early hours of this morning as 22-year-old Robert Kissack.
"Mr Kissack was struck by a vehicle on Whitebridge Road in Onchan and the Isle of Man Constabulary is continuing to investigate the incident."
The force added that specially trained Family Liaison Officers are supporting Robert’s family "through this sad time."
A number of witnesses have already been identified but if anyone witnessed the incident, and has not yet been spoken to by the Police, are asked to call Police Headquarters on 631212.
The Coroner of Inquests has been informed.
