CCTV released of man after more than £300 worth of Baileys stolen from Waitrose in Cheshire

Police have issued CCTV of a man they want to speak to after more than £300 worth of Baileys was stolen from a Waitrose shop.

Officers launched an investigation after receiving reports of a shoplifting incident at the branch on Princess Street in Knutsford, Cheshire, at around 3.30pm on Friday, 22 November.

During the incident, an unknown man exited the store without paying for a quantity of Irish cream liquor to the amount of £324.

Cheshire Police has released images of a dark-haired man, wearing glasses, a hat and a North Face jacket, that they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

Police Constable John Milman, of Macclesfield Neighbourhood Team, said: “Enquiries are currently ongoing and as part of our investigation, we would like to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV images.

“If anyone recognises him, please contact us via the website or call 101. I would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to come forward.”
