Police appealing for information after two dogs in Levenshulme were snatched in broad daylight
Police have issued an appeal for help to trace two dogs who were stolen from their owner's garden in broad daylight.Millie and Rosie were snatched from the garden in the Barlow Road area of Levenshulme at around 2.15pm on Friday 23 February.
Police say both are chipped, but have not yet been found.
Rosie is a five-year-old Maltese crossed with a Shih Tzu. She is all-white in colour and was wearing a pink collar.She has lost her right eye since the photo of her was taken.
Millie is a seven-year-old Lhasa Apso crossed with a Jack Russell. She is white and golden in colour and was wearing a blue collar. Both dogs had recently been groomed.Anyone with information on their whereabouts is being urged to contact officers.
In an appeal shared on social media, police said: "#APPEAL | Police are appealing for help following the theft of two dogs in Levenshulme"Millie and Rosie were stolen from their owners garden in the Barlow Road area of Levenshulme on 23 February 2024 at approximately 2:15pm."Both Millie and Rosie are chipped and have been recently groomed so their coat may present shorter. Police are appealing for any information which will aid the safe return of Millie and Rosie to their owners.
