Murder investigation in Bolton after man stabbed to death

Greater Manchester Police have launched a murder investigation after double stabbing in Bolton yesterday.
Police say they were called to Batterberg Road at around 6.40pm last night, a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital where he later died.
A 41 year old man was later discovered near to Lincoln Road with serious injuries. He remains in hospital in a stable condition and has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.
A 27-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of assault in relation to the stabbing on Lincoln Road. He remains in custody for questioning.
Police say both stabbings are thought to be linked and believe there to be no wider risk to the public.
A 21-year-old woman was also arrested in connection with the incident. She remains in police custody.
