Teenager stabbed multiple times in 'appalling' Halloween attack in Merseyside

A teenager is in hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed in an 'appalling' attack on Halloween in Merseyside. The stabbing happened at around 6:30pm on Sandy Lane, Seaforth, after an incident on nearby Claremont Road.

The 17-year-old was left with serious injuries after he was stabbed multiple times.

Police say he is in a stable condition in hospital.There are cordons in place on Claremont Road, Sandy Road, Sandy Lane, and at the entrance to Rimrose Valley country park.

Merseyside Police say they are in the early stages of an investigation and ask anyone with information about the attack to get in touch.
