Community groups in Wigan are benefitting from £150,000 worth of grants, all thanks to the generosity of supporters.

When Wigan Athletic went into administration in 2020 fans dug deep into their pockets to help the club finish the season. They raised £150,000.

In March of this year when the club was saved by Phoenix 2021 Limited, administrators handed the money back.

Now, the club's supporters' group is pumping the money back into the town, supporting a host of community initiatives.
