Boxing champion Tyson Fury has thanked the doctors and nurses of Liverpool's Alder Hey Children's Hospital after his newborn baby Athena was released from Intensive Care.

He announced on social media on Sunday 8th August that his wife Paris had given birth to their sixth child, Athena.

But the professional world heavyweight champion asked fans to 'keep her in their prayers' after she was put on a ventilator at Alder Hey.

Fury has now raised more than £47,000 in aid of charity Ronald McDonald House Liverpool.

In a new social media post he confirmed the good news that Athena is now out of intensive care and on the mend.
