To Jurby and beyond! Russian spacecraft transported to Manx Motor Museum
A rocket has been seen making its way through the Isle of Man.
The Almaz-206 is a Russian space craft that has been in storage since the 1990s.
It is being moved to the Manx Motor Museum, in Jurby, to be put on display to encourage more interest in space and science.
The Isle of Man police escorted the abnormal load on Thursday morning, from Balthane Industrial Estate to its final destination.
It caused tailbacks of traffic after the lorry carrying the space station reportedly broke down.
It is believed to be the first of more space equipment making its way across the Island in the coming days.
