Jack Grealish bids emotional farewell to boyhood club for £100m Man City move

Manchester City have unveiled their new number 10 - Jack Grealish - in his first press conference since joining on a six-year deal from Aston Villa.

Grealish, 25, leaves Villa having made 213 appearances over the course of eight seasons, scoring 32 goals.

The Premier League champions have paid £100m for him - a British record.

City confirmed Grealish will wear the number 10 shirt, which was recently vacated by the departure of long-serving striker Sergio Aguero.

Speaking to the media, he said: ''He [Pep] can take my game to the next level. I will listen every day and I cannot wait to work with him.

''I've been here two days and the way he is in training is unbelievable.''

Talking about leaving his boyhood club, Aston Villa, he said it had been one of the toughest decisions he'd ever had to make, but it was something he 'couldn't turn down': "The chance to win trophies, to play with @DeBruyneKev and to play for the best manager in the World was a massive factor as well.
