Actor Ricky Tomlinson calls for more Covid help: 'When you want a bit of support you get nothing'
Liverpool actor Ricky Tomlinson has given an impassioned speech at a rally calling on the government to help those excluded from financial support during the pandemic.
The Royle Family star marched through the city centre with Labour MP's and elected mayor Steve Rotherham on Saturday 7 August.
More than a million people including freelancers and the newly self employed weren't eligible for the furlough scheme or other grants.
