Man charged with murder after death of woman in Oldham

A man's been charged with killing a woman in Oldham.

Police were called to Hillside Avenue in Shaw on Tuesday night, and found 62-year-old Susan Booth lying outside a house with severe injuries.

Hospital staff tried to save her life, but she died a short time later.

Stephen Booth, who is 63, has now been charged with her murder, and has been remanded in custody.
