Jimmy McGovern's new drama on the life of murdered Liverpool teenager Anthony Walker
Anthony Walker was murdered in a racially motivated attack in the Huyton area of Liverpool in 2005.
He was 18 years old.
Now, the story of the life that Anthony could have lived is being portrayed in a new drama by multi-Bafta award winner Jimmy McGovern.
Inspired by conversations with teenager's mother Gee Walker, 'Anthony' is the story of the boy he was and the man he was to become.
Michael Barton and his cousin Paul Taylor got life sentences for Anthony's murder.
Soon after his murder, Anthony's family set up the Anthony Walker Foundation to combat race and hate crime and to promote diversity across Merseyside and the North West.
'Anthony' will be shown on BBC One on Monday 27th July at 8.30pm.
