Increasing number of children being exposed to domestic violence during lockdown
An increasing number of children in the North West are suffering with their physical and mental wellbeing because of exposure to domestic abuse during lockdown.
One charity in Bolton has said that there has been an increase of 21% in referrals to its children's help services.
There are fears that more children across the North West could be suffering in silence.
