How Britain's cancer crisis took the life of one Cheshire mum
Kelly Smith from Cheshire died from cancer after her chemotherapy was paused due to risks posed by coronavirus.
Research by Health Data Research UK, revealed as many as 35,000 thousand people may die of cancer in the next year in the UK because of delays in diagnosing and treating the illness.

One of Kelly's close friends was Steve Bland, who helped to make the Panorama feature which Kelly features in on BBC 1 tonight. (July 6)
His wife Rachael Bland, was a presenter with BBC Radio Five who died of cancer nearly two years ago. She and Kelly helped create the podcast You Me and the Big C which helps anyone dealing with cancer.
