Vital welfare centre for veterans in Salford launches appeal after setback in plans to reopen after lockdown

While the weather is glorious at the moment, the recent torrential showers were extra bad news for a centre in the North West which acts as a vital lifeline for ex-servicemen and men.

The Veterans Garage in Salford has been closed throughout the pandemic, but just as it was about to reopen, the bad weather caused another big problem.
