Charities concerned about loneliness and isolation amongst the elderly

Charities supporting older people say they're worried some are lonelier and more isolated than ever after weeks of lockdown and shielding.

One Age UK group in the North West say they fear some pensioners may withdraw from society altogether.

Some people are now fearful of leaving their homes even with changing guidance on shielding.
