Man arrested after child attacked in Greater Manchester

Police are questioning a man after a child was raped in Greater Manchester.

Police were called to the scene in Heywood last night.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and remainsin police custody for questioning.

Specialist officers are supporting the girl - whose age has not beenreleased - and her family.
