Strong winds Friday, especially in the west
Strong winds for June.Accompanied by some heavy rain
An unseasonably deep area of low pressure is expected to develop across northern Scotland on Friday. As it tracks down the north sea, the winds and rain associated with it are likely to affect the Granada region.
Gale force winds are forecast for the Isle of Man as northwesterly winds gather strength through the day.
During the evening and night gusts 50-55mph will squeeze through the Irish Sea and onto coastal NW England.
Winds will be accompanied by a prolonged spell of organised rain.
By Saturday morning rain turns to showers and winds will then slowly ease through the day, although remaining blustery.
